Practice Sequential Images

 Today in digital arts course, we were learning to create sequential images with our group. We were given some props to use in photoshoot. My group pick up a ball, an umbrella and a scarf. With all these props, we thought of using 'Leicester weather' as the concept. We decided to shoot outdoor, and we're lucky that it's currently raining so we start taking images using the umbrella as the prop. We made small movement with the umbrella while clicking the shutter button repeatedly. In the time given, we've took 3 sequential images with different props. We took the images using iPhone 14 camera, 3024 x 4032 in size, 72 dpi for the horizontal and vertical resolution, 1/99 sec of exposure time and ISO-80. 

After all the picture are taken, I then select the images that we like and compile it on drive which will be shared to our group members through shared link. After making sure that all the picture are available to view, I download the picture. Once it is downloaded, there should be zip file saved to the computer, I then right click the file and press extract file. If the extract file are in hiec form, we could convert the images to jpeg or png using online image converter. Next to create a photo gallery in grid format, I'm going to generate my raw sequential images using contact sheet generator that could be found online. On the ride side of the screen, in the film section i'm going to fill in the device that i used to photograph the images. I then write my tittle as well as the date the photo was taken and finish off by adjusting the preset how i like it before downloading the finish contact sheet.

Continuing after generating the contact sheet, we select the 6 best picture to put it on a frame. The chosen picture will then opened in the pixlr editor by opening the file as new layer and select each picture to copy and paste to the main frame layer, which will be adjust to fit our liking by rotating the image with the rotate button. I decided to put my 6 picture in a vertical a4 size frame in black color and divide into two row, making sure each picture have equal size and arranged them with grid spaces in between. And the last step before exporting is to add the tittle text with the year its made, and my group member's name. I decided to use 'baileyns' as the font, 125 in size to add playful element that match the concept of the picture.

I am very happy with the finish piece where it turns out just how i would imagine it. From today's course i learn 2 new websites that are definitely helpful in compiling sequential photo to contact sheet and frame. I hope I could be better in using these websites to help me for my following projects.
