Software Practice/Client/Customer Profile

Today I'm going to create a customer profile on photoshop as software practice to show my target market.

I begin by opening photoshop and then clicking 'new file' which opened a dialogue box, then I clicked on 'print' on the top bar, and clicked on 'view all presets' and choose he size of my canvas which is A3, I then choose the orientation which is landscape, I checked the resolution 300ppi. I then choose the background color as white and clicked 'create'.

To get the image for my background, I first opened unsplashed to find copyright-free abstract background that I liked and download it. I then opened photoshop and clicked 'file' on the top left corner and clicked 'open' and choose the image that I downloaded before. Then on the new tab of the image, I clicked 'select', 'all', then clicked 'edit', 'copy' and go back to my main background tab and clicked 'file', and 'paste'. Then I press on the 'move' tool on the left side corner to adjust the image to fit the frame. Then to decrease the opacity, I clicked on the image layer on the bottom right side and adjusted the opacity.

To add my client profile picture, I searched 'teenage girl' on unsplashed. Once I got the image that I liked, I then opened it on photoshop and paste it to my main background layer in the same manner as before.

Next, I'm going to make a logo for my company in free logo maker adobe. I opened the website, and type in my company name and field then choose my desired design. Then, I adjust the font as well as the colour and icon to match my portfolio colour palette. Once I liked how it turned out, I then download the image and opened it on photoshop.

Next, I'm going to add my client overview by clicking the text tool on the left side and type the text that I wanted. I adjust the text size and font on the menu on top of the screen. In the menu, I could also adjust the paragraph alignment. To create a neat page, I align all the text to the left side of the page. For the headings, I change the font size bigger and bolder than my paragraph text. For my client overview, I included demographic, behavior and shopping destinations of my intended client for my project.

Once I finished making the client profile page, to save as a JPG, I clicked on 'file', 'make a copy', rename the file and change the format to JPG and press 'save'. Then the image is downloaded to the computer.
