Major Project Presentation Feedback
In week 7 we present our major project plan and our project progress to a small group. I found this presentation very useful both for my project and for me personally. Reflecting back, I actually haven't prepared ppt for the presentation because I forgot about it, so I tried to present as well as I can from my blog post and showing my textile manipulation sample as well as several of my design sketches. By doing this presentation, it helps me to see how far my initial ideas has developed into the final project plan and looking back to all my previous post, it helps me to understand my project better as a whole because when explaining my plan to the group, it makes me get better idea of the concept theme that I was going for. This presentation became an opportunity to practice my communication skills on how to elaborate my thought into a well-explained presentation.
Furthermore, I also got a lot new insight and inspiration from listening to my friend's presentation. I was really interested on how they take their approach from their initial inspiration into a unique multi-use building that Ana designed or an interesting animation storyline that Marta made.
At the end of the presentation, we each wrote feedback and what do we understand from listening to our friend's presentation. My presentation feedback form can be viewed here. Looking at my feedback form, all my friends understand and get the idea of my project concept and plan, I think showing my sketches and sample helps them to understand the theme better. They also think that I did an excellent presentation (scoring 4.5 and 5 out of 5), although I'm don't fully agree with this because reflecting back, I didn't get to prepare anything and honestly I have trouble to communicate my ideas fluently during the presentation. Besides that, they think that my project progress align with my initial timeline (scoring 5 out of 5).
