Production Plan: week 7,8 & 9
For the next three weeks here is my plan within the timeline
Week 7: At the first session of AP2, I will continue on assembling the corset and I planned to fully finished the corset before the second session. During this session, I also plan to go to the textile workshop to dyed the bias tape to match the main fabric color. On the second and third session, I planned to make the skirt which is not really complicated to make as I chose a very simple square skirt pattern. Therefore I'm quite positive to finish the skirt before the start of week 8. I also hope to have the bolero pattern ready to be cut on week 8.
Week 8: In week 8, I plan to finish the bolero top and complete the whole 3d outcome which then let me focus on planning my portfolio pages design. Coming up with a design idea for my portfolio is one of the most challenging part for me, because not only that design need to match my concept and moodboard I was going for, but I also wanted the design to present some Indonesian elements on it which is quite tricky to incorporate. During this time, I will also make the headpiece and other accessories that I'm going to use for the outcome photoshoot that I plan to conduct at the end of week 8 or beginning of week 9.
Week 9: As there will be less than 2 weeks before submission, in week 9 I'm going to fully focus to design my portfolio pages from making the moodboard, designing the final 2d outcome to assembling the collection line up. I'm planning to use adobe illustrator again to design my technical drawings, however if there is not enough time, I will try to use procreate as the alternative. I thinkthe part that will take the longest time is finalizing the portfolio design. It really hard for me to decide on one design, which most of the time delayed the portfolio-making process, therefore this term I'm committing to focus more on the portfolio content and spend less time worrying about the design.
During week 6, I have bought most of the fabric and sewing materials to start the garment production process, however I still need to purchase materials for my accessories and head piece which I plan to start making it in week 8.

Week 9 will be less than ONE week before submission! Good clear plan - work on your Portfolio pages (although they don't have to be completed) so you have something to work with in the Website Update session in Week 9.
